BASIC BLUEBERRY SAUCE 1 cup sugar 1 cup water dash salt 1 quart fresh blueberries
Place sugar, water and salt in an 8-cup microwaveable measure and zap on high for 2 to 3 minutes, until the mixture boils. Boil for 2 minutes. Add blueberries. Zap on high 2 minutes, or until blueberries begin to pop and open. Allow sauce to cool and serve over ice cream. Yield: 2 cups sauce. |
